Milwaukee Interactive Bike Map Project

The City of Milwaukee is creating an interactive map that people can access on their phone or computer to get bicycling directions using only low stress streets that are comfortable to bike on. Each street on the map will be rated between 1 (lowest stress) and 4 (highest stress) based on factors like how many cars are on the street and whether there is a bike lane. The map will also have other bike-related information available, like where you can find bike parking.

Take the Survey!

The Biking Comfort survey shows photos of streets and asks you to judge how comfortable you think they would be to bike on. Your feedback will help the City of Miwaukee Department of Public Works make sure that the stress ratings given to streets on the interactive map match what the community thinks.
