The purpose of the Haz-Mat team is to protect life, property and the environment. This is done by the use of special equipment and training not available to Fire Department members in general.
The principle function of the Haz-Mat Team is to safely and efficiently mitigate hazardous materials incidents through the use of the Incident Command System.
