W. Vliet Street Traffic Calming Corridor Walk

The City of Milwaukee Department of Public Works (DPW) and Alderwoman Sharlen Moore are holding a corridor walk of W. Vliet Street on Monday, May 12 at 6 p.m. for neighbors to walk the area together, discuss experiences on the street and learn about traffic calming measures that may be included in a future project to help improve safety for all users. Neighbors should meet at the intersection of W. Vliet and N. 60th streets at 6 p.m. The walk will continue east to N. 48th Street and then convene at Wick Field for conversation. For attendees who may not be able to join the walk, please meet at Wick Field around 6:30 p.m. In case of inclement weather, the rain date for the walk will be Tuesday, May 13 at 6 p.m. Please check DPW Facebook Page for rescheduling. Reasonable accommodations, of an auxiliary aid or service required due to a disability, for a City of Milwaukee event will be provided upon request.
