This symposium, presented by First Lady Dominique Johnson, brings together women from diverse backgrounds to engage in meaningful discussions about the challenges and joys of being a woman, with a special focus on the intersection of motherhood. While motherhood is often viewed as a defining role for many women, this event emphasizes that before being a mother, a woman is a person with her own dreams, passions, and identity.
Through a series of workshops, panel discussions, and personal stories, the symposium will reinforce the idea that being a woman should be celebrated first and foremost—motherhood is just one part of the larger, multifaceted experience of being a woman.
