Daniel F. Rotar was hired as the Budget & Administration Manager of the Milwaukee Police Department in February 2011. He is responsible for managing the Department’s Operating and Capital Budgets, in addition to the Department’s Asset Forfeiture Program. Rotar started his employment with the City of Milwaukee in 1991 as a Senior Purchasing Agent for the City Purchasing Division. In 2001, he accepted a promotion to work for the Department of Public Works-Administration Division where, as a Business Operations Manager, he was responsible for overseeing the Department’s Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Sections. Rotar holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
