Captain Thomas Casper
Captain Thomas Casper has been a member of the Milwaukee Police Department since March 18th, 1991. After graduating from the Milwaukee Police Academy, he was assigned to District 7 as a patrol officer. In September of 1994, he became a member of the Tactical Enforcement Unit. In February of 1999, he was promoted to the rank of Detective and was assigned to the Vice Control Division. As a detective he worked in the Robbery Division, the Violent Crimes Division, and the Homicide Divisions. In February of 2013, he was promoted to Lieutenant and worked in the South Investigations Unit and the Homicide Divisions. In 2019 he was promoted to the rank of Captain and is currently assigned to the Homicide Division.
Captain Casper is a proud alum of Marquette University having graduated in 1990 with a bachelor’s degree in criminology and law studies.
