Captain Diana Rowe was appointed to the Milwaukee Police Department as a Police Officer in 1991. She was assigned as a patrol officer in both District Six and District Three. She was transferred to the Identification Division promoted to Identification Technician in 1996. In 2002, she was promoted to Identification Supervisor and in 2004 she was promoted to Captain of Police. She has also previously served as the commanding officer for the Identification Division, the Integrated Justice Services Division, Investigative Management, the Intelligence Fusion Center, and Internal Affairs. She also served as the interim Chief of Staff and Captain of District Six. Captain Rowe currently commands the First District, which encompasses Milwaukee's Downtown and East Side. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management and Finance from Alverno College.
