Second MKE Black Summer Marketplace happening Saturday
On Saturday, July 24, at 11 a.m., the second MKE Black Summer Marketplace, an outdoor marketplace focused on uplifting local Black-owned businesses, will take place at the Beerline Plaza, 3356 N. Holton St.
The event is presented by MKE Black, a non-profit that provides a directory of Black-owned businesses in the greater Milwaukee area, as well as connects businesses to resources, capital, and networks.
The event is free and open to the public and will be hosted on the fourth Saturday of each month throughout the summer. Additional information can be found at https://mkeblack.org/.
The Beerline Shuffle: 3 miles of Art, Music & Unity
Riverworks is excited to bring to life the first annual Beerline Shuffle! This event will take place on Saturday, August 28th from 9:00 - 11:00am.
While on a three mile walk along the Beerline Trail (through both Harambee and Riverwest), we will shuffle along to live music, participate in community art projects, and have an array of other fun activities for all ages!
Milwaukee Area Dance and Theater Artists Come Together for an afternoon of shared conversation and artistic practice
