The Hop, Milwaukee's new streetcar is open for all to use! The Hop service will be free for the first year. Visit their website to learn about #HopSmart tips!

The City of Milwaukee has a new Open Data Portal! Open Data is the idea that government data should be made available to use, reuse and redistribute in an easy to use format and without barriers. We currently have 68 data-sets available to explore! This portal will prove to be a tremendous resource to anyone curious about city data.

Illegal dumping is a burden to residents and a blight on our beautiful city. Don't let illegal dumping ruin your neighborhood. Report it and you could be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000. You can call (414) 286-CITY or report it online. Remember to report who, what, where and when.

If your home has a lead service line you can get a discounted water filter at You may be able to qualify for a free water filter if you live in the City of Milwaukee and cannot afford a filter. Arts @ Large is hosting a Festival of Lights Celebration on Friday, November 30th 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.! The event will include a tree lighting, music, hot cocoa and more at Paliafito Eco-Arts Park in Walker's Point. This is a FREE family friendly event! 

Washington Park Neighborhood Annual Gathering
Join Washington Park neighbors on Monday, December 10th from 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. as they celebrate the collaborative work being done in the neighborhood.

Join UMOS for a FREE breakfast with Santa on December 8th from 8 - 11:30am at South Division High School. Children and their parents enjoy a pancake breakfast, visit Santa Claus, and receive a holiday gift. For more information call 414-389-6002.

The Wisconsin Bike Fed is hosting their annual Santa Rampage on Saturday, December 1st. Over 2,000 Santa's will take over the City on their bikes while stopping a several local businesses. To learn more and take part in this event visit the WI Bike Fed website.
