Free Community Testing Sites 

Free COVID-19 testing for anyone, regardless of symptoms. Drive-thru or walk-up. No appointment needed. 

TESTING UPDATE: Because of the anticipated bad weather tomorrow (1/25/21), testing sites at American Family Field (Miller Park), Northwest Health Center and Southside Health Center will be CLOSED Tuesday (1/26/21). These community testing sites will reopen Wednesday (1/27/21).

Northwest Health Center, 7630 W. Mill Road
Drive-thru garage – Enter at Mill Road Library, 6431 N. 76th St.
• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 9am-3pm
• Wednesday 10am-6pm
• Closed Saturday and Sunday

Southside Health Center, 1639 S. 23rd St.
Drive-thru heated tent in North parking lot - Enter on 24th St.
• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 9am-3pm
• Wednesday 10am-6pm
• Closed Saturday and Sunday

American Family Field (Miller Park), 1 Brewers Way
Drive-thru, walk up or take the free Miller Park shuttle.
• Monday-Friday 11am-6pm
• Saturday 9am-3pm
• Closed Sunday
Note: Drive-thru lines may close at 5pm to ensure that tests are completed by 6pm.

Anyone with symptoms should request to be tested.
Try your primary care doctor first.

COVID-19 Testing at No Cost to You

Conducted by a private company. Test results within days. Unlike other city testing sites, this private vendor will bill a person’s health insurance. The city, using federal funds, will be the payer of last resort if private insurance funding is not available.

• Weekdays 8am-noon
• Saturday and Sunday 10am-3pm
Starts Tuesday, December 29 and will continue at this location for at least two weeks

Covid-19 Downtown Shuttle sign

Free downtown shuttle to Miller Park Covid-19 Testing Site

Look for the yellow signs along the route! 

  • Shuttle busses pick up passengers along the route downtown, bringing them to the testing site
  • Shuttle busses start at 10:30am and end by 6pm (returning any passengers to the stops they boarded at)
  • Currently running two shuttles – Lamers buses – that run continuously while the testing site is open
  • Masks are required on the shuttle and strict social distancing is enforced

While this is NOT a Milwaukee County Transit System route, the Miller Park Shuttle follows the old Brewers Line that MCTS formerly ran.

  • Water + Juneau – connecting MCTS Routes 15, 33, 57 and GreenLine
  • Water + State – Routes 15, 57 and GreenLine
  • Kilbourn + Van Buren – Route 30 and Streetcar
  • Prospect + Mason – Routes 14 and GoldLine
  • Wisconsin + Cass – Routes 14, GoldLine and CoachLine regional buses
  • Wisconsin + Jackson – Routes 14, 30 and GoldLine
  • Wisconsin + Water – Routes 14, 15 30, 57, GoLine and GreenLine
  • Wisconsin + 2nd Street – Routes 14, 19, 30, BlueLine and GoldLine
  • Wisconsin + 6th Street – Routes 12, 14, 30, 31, 80, BlueLine and GoldLine
  • Wisconsin + 12th Street – Routes 12, 14, 30, 31, BlueLine and GoldLine
  • Wisconsin + 16th Street – Routes 14, 30, 31, BlueLine and GoldLine
  • Wisconsin + 27th Street – Routes 30, PurpleLine and GoldLine
