Each year, the City of Milwaukee participates in Take Root Milwaukee's annual Homeownership Fair to encourage home buying in the city and to market City-owned properties and resources. It's a chance for residents to connect to resources that can help them buy, keep and fix their home. Information on the home-buying and home rehab-process will be featured and attendees will learn about different types of loans and grants offered by Take Root Milwaukee members.

NIDC CIP match grants support community projects that engage community members and physically improve neighborhoods in Milwaukee. CIP grants are reimbursable grants that require a dollar–for-dollar match from non-City funding sources. The maximum CIP grant request is $4,000. Attending an info session is required.
