Title III: Public Accommodations
Requires places of public accommodation be accessible to, and usable by, people with disabilities.
Places of public accommodation include private businesses and privately owned and operated organizations that offer goods and services to the general public. These include office buildings, private schools, day care centers, restaurants, hotels, theatres, retail stores, shopping centers, pharmacies, hospitals, doctor offices, private entities that own, operate, or lease to places of public accommodations, and others.
The City of Milwaukee does not have jurisdiction over Title III entities. If you feel you have been discriminated against by a place of public accommodation, you may file a complaint with the U.S. Department of Justice. For more information regarding the federal complaint and enforcement process, see the Department of Justice ADA Home Page.
Title IV: Telecommunications

The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the U.S Department of Justice have been designated as the lead federal agencies for enforcement of the ADA.
