Fall Leaf Collection Oct. 1 - Nov. 26

City of Milwaukee residents may start raking leaves into the curb lanes starting Wednesday, October 1. Collection will begin on Monday, October 13 and end on Wednesday, November 26.

Remember, leaves and brush, along with other yard waste, are banned from landfills and must not be placed in garbage
or recycling carts.

Police Officers preserve public peace, protect life and property, work within the community to prevent crime, and enforce City ordinances and State laws.

Police Aides (ages 17-19) are uniformed civilian employees who serve in an apprentice-style program designed to prepare them for a career as a Police Officer.

Fire Cadets (ages 17-19) are uniformed civilian employees who work in an apprentice-style program designed to prepare Cadets for a career as Milwaukee Firefighters.

 

New Mobile Service Request App

Mayor Tom Barrett unveiled the new City of Milwaukee mobile application designed to help residents report issues to the City through an app on their iPhone or Android devices without having to call or visit the City’s website.

With the MKE Mobile, residents will be able to report issues including abandoned vehicles, graffiti, potholes, weeds/tall grass complaints, street light outages and more.
