Recreational Facilities
Recreational Facilities provides Milwaukee residents with forty-eight play areas that typically include a play structure with a variety of play activities, a swing and inclusive play panels for children of all ages. Benches for those supervising the children are also provided. Some sites have basketball courts and/or tennis courts.
Recreational Facilities also provides eleven green areas that include benches for a natural setting in which to relax.
Waste Less Recycle More Higher State Landfill taxes make burying garbage more costly than ever while recycling earns money for the City of Milwaukee.

Construction Related Material Charge. There is a charge for all City residents bringing construction related material into the self help stations. This includes roofing material, brick, stones, concrete, lumber, drywall, paneling and other construction material.
The charge is $15 for up to 8 cubic yards, and $30 for 8-16 cubic yards. (16 cubic yard maximum.) No contractor vehicles allowed.
