The lottery drawing for 100 new taxicab permits will be held during the Public Transporation Review Board Meeting on Monday 3/17/2014 @ 11:00 AM. The drawing will be held at Centennial Hall located at 733 N. 8th Street. There are 1706 Notices of Intent to Apply eligible for the drawing.

Most of these places – officially called "alcohol beverage establishments" – are well run, orderly, and safe. Get information for those instances when you and your neighbors feel a local establishment has gotten out of hand and is harming your quality of life.
Residents can now sign up to receive electronic notifications whenever a license application is made within a designated distance from a registered address. By registering a valid email address and password at the City's "E-Notify" link, users will be notified via email one day after any application within the designated distance is submitted. The Milwaukee Police Department (MPD) is required to conduct an investigation of the criminal history of applicants for certain new and renewal licenses and permits. All applicants whose fingerprints are not already on file with the Milwaukee Police Department must report to the Police Administration Building at the following address and times in order to be fingerprinted:
