Sign Up to Get Emails on License Applications -- Residents can now sign up to receive electronic notifications whenever a license application is made within a designated distance from a registered address.  By registering a valid email address and password at the City's "E-Notify" link, users will be notified via email one day after any application within the designated distance is submitted.  Sign Up Now

 


License E-Payment 

License fees can be paid online with MasterCard or VISA.  The refund policy for payments can be found at the Refund Policy link.

Fingerprinting Requirements

The Milwaukee Police Department (MPD) is required to conduct an investigation of the criminal history of applicants for certain new and renewal licenses and permits.  All applicants whose fingerprints are not already on file with the Milwaukee Police Department must report to the Police Administration Building at the following address and times in order to be fingerprinted:
