The City of Milwaukee partnered with the Milwaukee-Waukesha County Consortium for Emergency Public Health Preparedness and the Milwaukee Archdiocese to present two the Schools and Childcare H1N1 Summits. The Summits provided up-to-date information about the risks of H1N1, best practices around preventing and treating the flu, and reducing the spread and impact of H1N1 in schools and childcare, including information about reporting flu-like illnesses.
