Since 1980, the Milwaukee Women’s Center has been serving individuals and families affected by domestic violence and co-occurring issues. To fulfill its mission, MWC provides emergency shelter and transportation, a 24-hour crisis line, specialized services and support for older abused women, children’s programming, and batterers’ treatment, case management to meet housing and other basic needs, and counseling to address domestic violence and substance abuse issues.
