COMPUTER SKILLS TRAINING
As 2014 City Departments and employees will no longer enroll in computer software courses through Employee Relations (Training & Development Services). Employees will directly enroll with external training vendors (including computer software training) of their choice, pay up-front out-of-pocket, and have the costs reimbursed through the regular tuition reimbursement process through self-service.
If a department wishes to fund a class for an employee, the department will be able to enroll the employee directly (the department will also pay the invoice directly). Tuition benefits may not be used for upfront payments.
