City of Milwaukee FastCare Clinics

Starting July 1, 2018 employees, spouses and dependents (ages 6 and older) with the City’s UHC health insurance will be able to use 5 Froedtert FastCare Clinic locations around the Milwaukee area to receive FREE care. Please see the flyer for more information and FAQs.

New FSA Administrator: Benefit Advantage

The transition from eflex/TASC to Benefit Advantage was completed November 30th. Employees must now file all claims with Benefit Advantage instead of eflexgroup/TASC and should have received new debit cards in the mail.

City Benefits for Domestic Partners Update

2017 Wisconsin Act 59, which was signed into law as part of the 2017-2019 state biennial budget, created a new section (66.0510) that changes the City’s ability to provide certain benefits to domestic partners. The legislation states that a local governmental unit many only provide an employee benefit plan to its officers, agents, employees, spouses and dependent children. Please see the attached letter for details on how this legislation will impact City of Milwaukee benefits for domestic partners and their dependents.

 

City of Milwaukee Onsite Nurse Liaison

An onsite nurse liaison through UHC is available to help employees/spouses understand information and follow-up steps from doctor appointments, provide support with chronic medical conditions like diabetes, hypertension and asthma, find the right type of care and address questions or issues regarding care or treatment. This service is FREE for City of Milwaukee employees and spouses.
