R Bid Vehicle Auction
Rules
1. There is no fee to place a bid.
2. The minimum bid is $200 per vehicle, unless otherwise noted.
3. Each vehicle will be awarded to the highest bidder.
4. The City of Milwaukee cannot accept responsibility for network and/or power outages that may occur during the transmission of bids.
5. The City reserves the right to make changes to items posted for sale, if deemed necessary, up to 24 hours prior to the posted bid closing time. It is the responsibility of the bidders to monitor the site and amend their bids accordingly, if they so desire, before the posted closing time.
6. The City reserves the right to reject all bids and cancel the offer to sell posted vehicles at any time, if deemed necessary.
7. All vehicles being offered for sale are being SOLD AS IS, with no warranty or guarantee.
8. The vehicles must be paid for and towed/removed on a flat-bed within 5 working days after award. THE CITY WILL NOT DELIVER ANY VEHICLES.
9. To make arrangements for a date and time of pick-up, please contact Kathy Baily at (414) 286-2261 between the hours of 7:30 AM and 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
10. Cash or cashier's checks may be used for payment. Charge cards, personal checks, or traveler's checks are not accepted.
Note: When you provide a check as payment, you authorize us either to use information from your check to make a one-time electronic fund transfer from your account, or to process the payment as a check transaction.
11. Any winning bidder who fails to pay for and pick up the vehicles within 5 working days after award will be prohibited from participating in any future City of Milwaukee R-Bid vehicle auctions for one (1) year.
