Sealed bids will be opened on Tuesday, September 24, 2010 at 10:30 A.M. for:

The Century City Redevelopment Project - Area E
Site Electrical and Crane Power Extension Bid Package
3533 North 27th Street, Milwaukee, WI

One pre-bid meeting will be held at the Century City Site on Wednesday, September 15, 2010, from 2:30pm- 4:30 .m. Enter at Gate 2 - 2725 W. Hopkins St.
(Please Note: Prior to entering the site, anyone showing up for the site visit will need to have steel tipped boots, hard hat, safety glasses, and a vest.)

Bid Security Required:
Bond, Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Cash to accompany bid: 10% of Contractor's Base Bid

Time for Completion:
4 weeks after execution of the contract and receipt of the Notice to Proceed

The EBE requirement for this project is 25% of the contract base bid.

The residency requirement for this project is 40% of all hours worked on the project.

The contractor shall specifically note the EBE and residency forms for this project. If the forms are not filled out properly, it will be cause for rejection of the bid.

Plans and project manual will be furnished to the prospective bidders upon payment of a $10.00 non-refundable fee in room 506, Frank P. Zeidler Municipal Building, 841 North Broadway, Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53202.

A $10.00 per set additional non-refundable fee is required to obtain bid documents by mail. Plans are sent via U.S. mail unless other arrangements are made by the contractor.
