The American Lung Association held its annual Fight for Air Climb of the US Bank building in Downtown Milwaukee. The US bank building is the tallest building in the state and every year people from all lifestyles show up to conquer 1,037 steps that comprise 47 floors worth of stairs. Milwaukee Firefighters have long participated in this annual fundraiser by completing the event in firefighting gear. Three teams from the Milwaukee Fire Department (MFD) composed of current Fire Chiefs, a group of Milwaukee Firefighters and members of the MFD Explorer Post 875 participated in the event.
