Weather, lock delays, other port backups, and a slew of othe reasons can cause a vessel not to arrive on any scheduled day. - How do I ship my car overseas?

- How do I register my boat at South Shore Yacht Club?
Contact Donna Luty, 414-286-3511 or Wayne Johnson at 414-286-3610. A form needs to be filled out and a tag will be issued for your mooring, after you have predetermined an available spot. To find an available spot, we suggest you contact Jerry's Mooring Service, 414-588-6764, www.len-der.com
- What if I want to moor a boat at McKinley Marina?
Contact McKinley Marina at 414--273-5224. The Port does not oversee the moorings at McKinley.

- I have a large shipment I want to send overseas. Where do I start?

- I have a container that is suppose to arrive in Milwaukee. How do I know when it has arrived?
A container arriving from overseas must clear through U.S. Customs. A Customs Broker will clear the freight with US Customs. Once it is cleared, you should be contacted by the Customs Broker. If you do not know which Customs Broker is clearing your freight try to contact the supplier sending the container to the U.S. They should have that information on who they hired to clear the freight.
- Can I come down to the Port to watch the ships unload?
The Port has public streets. Due to Homeland Security, you should expect to be stopped by anyone of the businesses or security personnel to ask you who you are and your business at the Port. A form of identification will be asked of you. Each terminal (operation) at the port is a private company and you are not allowed on their leased land unless you have their permission.
