Valarie Williams

Personnel Administrator Valarie Williams was appointed to the Milwaukee Police Department on June 23, 1985. Personnel Administrator Williams started with the Milwaukee Police as an Office Assistant. She has held various positions and assignments in the Department including positions as Administrative Specialist, Personnel Analyst and Personnel Officer. Ms. Williams has been assigned to District Seven, Records Management Section, and the Human Resources Division. Personnel Administrator Williams has been assigned to the Human Resources Division since May of 1992.
Personnel Administrator Williams holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration from Alverno College and a Master of Science Degree in Human Resources from Marquette University. She is a member of the Human Resources Committee for Major City Chiefs and the Society for Human Resource Management. Her goal is to provide the Chief, command staff and members of the Department with accurate and timely information as it relates to human resources and labor relations matters.
