The agreement signifies that both cities and their respective water councils will foster cooperative networks between water centric businesses, universities, research institutions and allied organizations. Mayor Tom Barrett is a member of Milwaukee’s Water Council.
“As mayors, we recognize the opportunities and challenges of managing our respective water supply systems,” said Mayor Tom Barrett. “I believe both cities will benefit from sharing technological solutions to address our most challenging water resource issues.”
