2013-14 Federal Legislative Priorities: This document represents the City of Milwaukee’s federal legislative priorities for the 2013
legislative session. For more information, please contact City of Milwaukee Intergovernmental Relations Staff:
2011 Federal Legislative Agenda:The city’s federal legislative agenda is developed each fall with the input of city departments, the Mayor and members of the Common Council. It is also approved and monitored by the Judiciary and Legislation Committee of the Common Council.
Common Council Resolutions Related to Federal Legislation: Since the legislative package is only approved once every other year, occasionally the Common Council will pass additional resolutions directing IRD to lobby a federal bill or issue.
Delegation Contact Information: Milwaukee is represented by both of Wisconsin’s Senators and by Congresswoman Gwen Moore. IRD works closely with all three offices to ensure Milwaukee’s interests are well represented at the federal level.
