Captain Aimee Obregon has served as the Commander of the Sensitive Crimes Division since 2015. She joined the Milwaukee Police Department as a police aide in 1992, and was promoted to police officer in 1995. As a police officer she was assigned to District Three – Weed and Seed Initiative as well as the Sensitive Crimes Division. She was promoted to sergeant in 2001, and worked at District Six, and also the Office of Management Analysis and Planning. In 2009, she was promoted to Lieutenant and was assigned to District Six, District Three, and also as the acting captain of the Technical Communications Division. In 2013, she was promoted to captain and served as the Deputy Director of the Milwaukee Police Academy. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in criminal justice, a Master of Science degree in organizational leadership and a PhD from Cardinal Stritch University – School of Education.
