Minority, Women, and Small Business Enterprises

 The Procurement Services Section encourages participation in the bidding process from all certified Minority, Women and Small Business Enterprises (M/W/SBEs).  The City of Milwaukee has a separate division to serve the concerns of M/W/SBEs.  For more information, contact the Office of Small Business Development (OSBD) at (414) 286-5553.  This division can assist businesses with the certification process, financial assistance, participation in City contracts, loan eligibility if awarded a contract, and training and educational programs.

The goals for participation of M/W/SBEs expressed as a percentage of the total dollars annually expended are:

     - Goods and services = 25%

     - Professional services = 18%
