Home Ownership Fair

Save the Date to Join Us and Help Spread the Word!

Each year, the City of Milwaukee and Take Root Milwaukee host an annual Home Ownership Fair to encourage home buying in the city and to market City-owned properties and resources. This year, we are teaming up with the Greater Milwaukee Association of REALTORS® and our fair will be located just one floor above the REALTORS® Home & Garden Show at the WI Expo Center

The Home Ownership Fair will take place on Saturday, March 26, from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm – the last day of the Home & Garden Show. Attendees of the Home Ownership Fair will receive free admission to the Home & Garden Show and the first 200 people will be reimbursed for their $6 State Fair parking cost. FREE street parking is available or jump on the bus (routes 56, 67 or 76).

As in past years, NIDC and DCD Real Estate/STRONG Neighborhoods will staff two tables at the event. Residents can connect with lenders, realtors, home ownership specialists, neighborhood organizations and attend workshops on the home buying process and on home rehab. We hope to see you there!

View flyer in English and Spanish. Sign up or share the TRM event page on facebook.
