New Year New Home

Happy New Year! Happy (New) Home!

It finally feels (and looks) like winter in our neighborhoods. For 2016, our resolution in the new year is to help even more residents achieve homeownership in the city of Milwaukee.

If becoming a homeowner is on your list of resolutions, save your tax refund and get started today on your path to homeownership. Properties on our Extended Listing have been reduced to sell, plus NIDC offers a $20,000 forgivable loan for rehab.

Existing homeowners can take advantage of the STRONG Homes Loan, which offers a partially forgivable loan of up to $20,000 to help with essential home repairs.

For all residents, Milwaukee Water Works reminds us to prevent frozen water pipes and water meters this time of year. It's time now to make sure your pipes are exposed to warm air. Don't let your pipes freeze! The Department of Public Works also offers recycling and waste reduction tips for the season.

Thank you for keeping Milwaukee neighborhoods beautiful and STRONG all year long!
