Sept. 22 - Milwaukee Police arrested a 20-year-old Milwaukee man for the attempted armed robbery of the Wendy’s Restaurant located at 627 E. Capitol Drive. The suspect walked into the restaurant and displayed a handgun to the employees and demanded money. When a customer screamed the suspect ran before getting any money. Officers arrested the suspect in the 3400 block of N. Holton. The officers also found the pistol the suspect used. He will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office for possible charges.
