MPD Seeking Convenience Store Robbery Suspect

Sep. 11 - The Milwaukee Police Department has released surveillance video of a September 9 armed robbery at the Open Pantry, located at 3301 N. Oakland Avenue.

Around 4:45 a.m. a suspect entered the store and asked to purchase a pack of cigarettes. He then demanded money from the clerk while threatening to cut her. The suspect took money from the register when the clerk opens the drawer and then fled westbound on Hartford in a dark auto.

The suspect is described as a black male in his 30's, 5'9"-5'10", 150-160 lbs., thin build, short black hair, clean shaven, earrings in both ears, wearing a green cap with yellow lettering ‘Packers,’ black hooded 3/4 length jacket with black checkered lining inside, very light blue or mint color t-shirt, blue jeans, and brown shoes.
