19-Year-Old Felon Arrested With Gun

Milwaukee Police arrested a 19-year-old man shortly after midnight on May 1 after officers saw him toss a handgun from his jacket pocket. District 5 Officers Chad Boyack and Nathan Fager saw four individuals loitering in the roadway in the 200 block of E. Burleigh. As the group began to walk away from the officers the suspect pulled a .25 caliber handgun from his pocket and threw it on the ground. The suspect was arrested and the officers learned that he is a convicted felon and on probation for a drug offense. He will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office for possible charges.

Suspect Sought in Credit Union Robbery

Milwaukee Police are seeking the suspect in the May 26 armed robbery of the First Service Credit Union, 333 N. 35th Street. The suspect entered the credit union shortly before 9:30 a.m., displayed a handgun, and demanded and obtained money. The suspect then fled eastbound on foot. The suspect is described as an African-American male in his early to mid 20’s, 5’8”-5’10”, 150-160 lbs., with a medium build and complexion. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a zipper, black pants, white tennis shoes, and a white mask over the lower portion of his face. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of this suspect is asked to call Milwaukee Police at 414-935-7360.
